She is especially beautiful in her manga rendering, the way her eyes sorta slant downward and are all deep and watery..... ^_^;;; So you dig chics who look like they're about to cough up blood and die? =P

So you dig chics who look like they're about to cough up blood and die? =P Beauty, like love, is frail and impermanent.

Lately I've been reading:
Planetes: Very interesting, kinda reminds me a little of Cowboy Bebop. Only it's about two guys and one girl who collect orbital debris around earth. I've only read one volume, but maybe I'll check out the anime?
Chobits: Not quite as episodic as the anime. The story gets moving alot sooner but is more in depth. Very cool.
Nausicaa: Absolutely amazing. If you've seen the movie, the manga will blow you away with it's depth and insight. Nausicaa is a pacifist who also has a rare grasp on reality. Ya know, "a time to kill, a time to heal...." etc. You can't help but admire her!

Welcome, doomachine!
I finished the Chobits manga. Even better than the anime, I'd have to say. There are alot of concepts in the manga that I feel are overlooked or downplayed in the anime.
Starting Kodocha now. Proving to be both very serious and very silly at the same time. Certainly not dull. ^^;

w00t! Kodocha rocked ass! Best shoujo manga I ever read. I hear that FUNimation licensed the anime, but isn't releasing it until next summer. -_______-;

Oh, sweet! Is it the whole series? How many volumes? Aren't there like 25 or something? MangaProject got up through volume 18 and just kinda stopped.
I just read volume 1-3 of Dragon Knights. It's pretty cool actually. Fantasy, but more comedy than anything else. Like Slayers kinda. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be shoujo or not, but the art style would make it seem so. Anyway, it's alot of fun. Saucer recommends!

hmm now that you mention it I only have 18 volumes here... Hmm.... well there probably only is 18 volumes! I guess that explains why MangaProject stopped! LOL ^^; And you know how pissy they get at Boxtorrents when you upload incomplete series...... Gawd when will I ever finish reading it? I think I only got as far as volume 2. I guess part of me is dreading finishing it because, besides the Shin KOR novels, there won't be any new KOR stuff to savor. I think there may be novel translations online somewhere too........
