Last night I started on Phoenix: Tale of the Future. Tezuka really was a great writer. Although his 1920s/30s style of artwork puts a weird skew on everything. ^^;

Weapon, Carrot is damn funny huh? I remember from the OVA when he's trying to chat up that zombie chiXx0r and then he just sings in engrish "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" and get's blasted. It's so random. Now that I think about it, he does use alot of engrish phrases doesn't he? Ha ha ha ha, no wonder Carrot fears Tira & Chocolat. Arghh, just ordered Vol. 3 - Vol. 6. Just can't get enough.

Finished Phoenix Future last night. Kinda depressing, but that's the way these things go. I would have liked to have seen a bit more of an optomistic ending. Well, it was only one of many chapters in the series. ^^;

Heh heh, that's great news. I had pre-ordered v.2 through IC, so I'm glad that my pre-orderer will be carried over to Darkhorse. I'll have to check my old AOL mail though for Fred's message (hopefully it's stil active ^^; ). Pucci, we gotta hang onto our copies of the first book! They'll be collector's items. And of course, they're adding "additional material" to the DH re-printing of book 1. -.- Oh well, maybe it will be cool.

Oi, I know,... companies always do that stuff , but I will cave for sure, since it has the extras and will still be $9.99.
Dark Horse means better production quality overall , Volume 2 will be a visually impressive book for sure.

Anybody read sports manga? I'm reading a random volume of Harlem Beat now. I've read a bit of Rebound (the sequel) too. Pretty good, if you're a fan of Slam Dunk I suppose. ^^;

Nope , I am a sports freak , but I have no immediate interest in sports manga...^^
I find it cool however , since I am following 3x3 manga thru Super Manga Blast....that this current story arc has ended where the animation ended and from here on out I will have no idea what is going to happen in 3x3 eyes , its wonderful new world to explore:)

Dark Horse is really shitty about compiling manga into graphic novels. They still haven't seemed to grasp the concept that not all manga fans are comic book collectors. -_________________-;

I heard this manga is long, WAY long. BTW, just finished Bakuretsu Hunters vol. 3. LOL! Things keep getting better! The last part of the volume dealed with the hot springs resort that appeared on the OVA. The events that happens in the manga are way more hilarious! This is just to much! ;D

If you're looking for that manga, you may try Direct Connect. I've gotten KOR, DN Angel and other manga and artbooks off their.
Right now I'm reading Astro Boy. It's interesting to see the origins of so many commonly used anime and manga conventions. ^_^
