I'm kinda getting worried.... that's alot of episodes with no ending in sight it seems. I hope they don't turn Bleach into another "Naruto."

Oh gawd..... -_____-; is that the TV series based on the Blood the Last Vampire OVA I've heard rumored of? Judging from your reaction, I'd take a guess that it doesn't suck quite as bad as the OVA? ^^;

lol, there could no disappointment greater than that crappy ass OAV....however this TV series has t3h promise. 5\/\/337I watched like 5 episodes of Princess Tutu. ^^; It was interesting and kinda amusing. And it's easier to see how much deeper "children's shows" are in Japan than they are in the US where they pander to the lowest common denominator. I think I'm gonna watch Tsukuyomi Moon Phase next. ^^;

Twelve Kingdoms (Juuni Kokki) is probably one of the finest anime of all time. A stirring epic! ^_^

yeah...anyways there's a new Ichigo 100% OAV out. getting it now and last night I watched ep 6 of Solty Rei. Its about an android girl with superhuman abilities and is set in a future 12 years removed from a great catastrophe. It also ripoffs off every scifi cyberpunk show ever lol.

Its wierd how alot of the good ones arent very popular, compared to shows like Yu-Gi-Oh Very weird indeed! Alot of the appeal with shows like Yu-Gi-Oh is the way that they're marketed to American audiences. Prime airtime slots backed with merchandise inundation. So naturally everyone becomes familiar with the franchise, people who weren't previously familiar with anime are introduced to something new, etc.... Something like Twelve Kingdoms, unless they're already an otaku the average person wouldn't know what it was! The flipside is that these commercial phenomenon create new otaku as a result. It's sometimes hard for grumpy old otaku like Pucci and I to appreciate sometimes, because we had to come up the hard way. Being introduced to anime through a friend or associate. Scraping around for fansubs or the odd commercial release. DBZ and Sailor Moon were both partially responsible for blowing the whole anime thing wide open. Alot of good came of it, but alot of things were never the same. Ah well.... ::slowly rocks back and forth in his chair::

Just finished the much hyped Tsukuyomi Moon Phase. And I was happy that it delivered as promised! But boy.... that series is total loli-con! Just so you don't have to feel guilty, they throw in a hawt ch1x0r like Elfriede-san. I liked the balance of dark seriousness and random slapstick humor. Never straying too far to one side or the other. It's this kind of perfect balance that reminds me of why I love anime and manga so much.
