I finally bought Millennium Actress and Princess Mononoke. Those are really good movies. But, I also finally got me Iria: Zeriam the Animation. I loved watching that when I was a kid. When Sci-Fi use to show Japanese animation...and when they use to show MST3K. Man, I miss those days. Oh well. Here's a some pics from Iria. Just click on the thumbnails.

When Sci-Fi use to show Japanese animation...and when they use to show MST3K. Man, I miss those days. Oh well. Those are some excellent anime indeed. Two of my favorite anime movies in fact. Iria is a great old school anime, too. BTW, welcome to the board chibibirdie! Nice avatar. :-D I started to watch Maburaho (which BTW, is completely awesome) but got derailed by a bunch of corrupted episodes. While I was re-downloading half the series, I caught up on some other things like.... Sakura Taisen Le Nouveau Paris OVA - Haven't seen quite so much action in a Sakura Taisen OVA before (not counting the TV series). But, certainly no shortage of character development or story either for a 3 episode OVA. Just what you'd come to expect from the Sakura Taisen franchise. Huge file sizes, but worth it IMHO. Galaxy Angel 4 09-14 - I'm still wondering why translation of this series has ground to a screeching halt. I mean, it has been licensed. But that never stopped anyone before. Anyway, more whackiness from the Angel-tai is a good thing. And I am enjoying this season a little more than the later half of season 3. But I still think back on how great the first two seasons where, and can't help but feel like something got lost along the way. And yes, I know I'm the only one who feels this way. ^^; Galaxy Express 999 07-8 - Here's another series where we're lucky if we get more than a couple episodes a year (I gotta give Live-Evil props though, at least they finished Rose of Versailes ^^; ). '70s anime r00lZ! Matsumoto-sensei, Banzai! Gunbuster 2 03 - This is turning out to be a really good series. The second episode seemed almost anti-climactic after the blockbuster first ep. But this episode got me really pumped and simply dying for more! I eagerly await the last 3 eps (BTW is anybody besides me actually watching this? ^^; ). Lupin the Third - Pilot Film - This is the one they occasionally use clips from in the opening to the original series. A short, sort of "Who's who" introduction to the world of Lupin. Suprisingly fluid animation, too. And all the same seiyuu as in the series, except Lupin himself. ^^;

Saucer's been busy!!! LOL
anyhoo, I recently watched
Suzuka ep 10 - romance drama between "Suzuka" a rising track star and Akitsuki , the guy who joins the track team to be close to her. I like it! I want to get some more of the manga scanlations, cuz the manga is considerably more ecchi than the anime.
Tsubasa Chronicle ep 21 - its Tsubasa! , an amazing transition to anime, breathtaking ....so good!
Bleach 48 - Are you ready for a power trip?...no its not like that haha. Ichigo must master his swords secondary powehs , a process that typically takes 10 years...he has 2 days or his (love interest?) will be executed...
Air Summer Special 2 - gawd, this show is so freaking amazing. It details the escape of Kanna, a winged girl and 2 guardians as they race to where her mother is imprisoned. Helps if you've seen Air the TV series. Such incredible animation and VA work.

Saucer's been busy!!! LOL When your friends ruin your weekend by flaking on you, it leaves alot of spare time to do things like sit on your ass in front of the computer and watch anime all day. ^^; Ecchi is bad! Umm.... I mean, good. It's about time they had a story with a guy doing something stupid like that. Instead of a girl doing the same thing for some hairball guy (recalls Hana-Kimi and shudders). Actually, speaking of track stars..... Hana-Kimi, Suzuka...... I see a correlation..... (Hana-Kimi is a shoujo manga about some girl who enrolls in an all-boys school and passes herself off as a boy to be close to some trackstar guy she likes....... much fruitiness ensues).

Shuffle! ep 9 was really nice. Lots of swimsuits and hilarity. Plenty of ecchi. I love this show!

I got Maison Ikkoku box#5 for my birthday, so I've been watching that lately. I haven't read the manga in so long that I really have to reach back to remember stuff. It's great though. Tell me something though Pucci, is it just me or does it seem like Kyoko is alot different in the anime? She doesn't seem to flip out or get pissed as much. She doesn't even really seem to show that much jealousy with Godai until Mitaka proposes to her. It's weird. It's also refreshing to see an anime based on a Takahashi manga that doesn't follow the manga so rigidly like all the others.
Oh yeah I also finished Maburaho. Good series. Very funny with lots of ecchi. You know what's weird though? Is it just me, or does it seem that right after Kazuki becomes a ghost Miyama goes ape-shit nutso jealous ala Lum (Urusei Yatsura)?

Such a good anime woth many memorable moments...too bad the Godai/Kyoko love scene was never animated lol. Hmm, I really want to finsih Maburaho, only have 6 more eps to watch, Im gonna wait and see if LIME anime will release it , otherwise I'll just get the other download.

finally Anime-Haven released some more Galaxy Angel season 4. Episodes 15 and 16 were pretty funny too!
I just started a new harem anime called Canvas 2, its based on a popular h-game so it has to be good.
