Check this out! The Japanese Ministry of Culture announced they will gather creation plans for anime movies by upcoming anime creators from the public, and to give financial aid to promising plans starting from next year. This is part of the Japanese Ministry of Culture's campaign for the promotion of Japanese anime, and its aim is to find and to cultivate new and promising anime creators. Anime production needs a great amount of money to be realized in full scale, and even the most splendid of plans cannot be realized without the aid of a proper sponsor. However now that the government has decided upon this financial aide system, any young and unknown creator can earn the chance to have their plans realized as a full scale anime work. It seems the future of Japanese anime production is bright! www.animaxis.com/en/zine/newsletter/view.asp?id=N001117Looks like we may have a renaissance in feature-length anime sometime in the near future?
