Yay, Katti's here!
I'm not much of a computer gamer myself, though I'll admit that for stuff like MMORPG, RTS, and even FPS, computers are much better than consoles. Still, I've never really gotten into any of those genres, so I'll stick with my Cube for now.
Specs and OS, eh?
AMD Athlon XP-M Procesor 1.8 GHz 15'' TFT Active Matrix Display 40 GB Hard Drive 512 MB RAM Windows XP Pro

Welcome Katti! Glad you stopped by here, please tell others about this place!
So, you guys are Athlon people eh? I always see Athlon and Pentium people arguing with each other online. It's highly amusing, to say the least. ;D ::runs before j00 starts throwing things::

Thank you, thank you for the warm welcome. I'll invite people if I come across them, but I really don't talk to many people outside the KnB and Kosai crowds. Funny, I don't even know what brand my new processer is. I do know it's 2400xp, which is hella better than the 800MHz I'm running now. I could really care less about the brand war, as long as it does what it should.

I hear good things about Mozilla. It's usually what PC users switch to when they get sick of dealing with IE. Built-in pop-up killer, too. ^_^

you can also import your IE favorites list. helps make the transition a little easier. anyone using windows, mac os x or inux should give it a try.

I use IE mainly out of force of habit. I haven't used Safari very much, but it didn't seem to be anything outstanding either.

I got word that Windows XP Service Pack 2 due out soon will have a revamped IE 6 with a built in pop up blocker. They finally got the hint from the Google toolbar and Mozilla.
If you do try Mozilla, get Firebird, which is basically a skinned down version of the browser. It's much faster and has the same ad blocking capability.
BTW:
Platform AMD Athlon 2400 XP 512 MB Coursair RAM Radeon 9200 40 GB HD
OS Windows XP Pro
Browser Mozilla Firebird

Yeeeeeeaaah... Don't got much to talk about on an anime board when one doesn't watch anime or plays only the occasional video game.

Hey, I said *not much.* 'Sides, most of the discussion seems to be in those two sections.
